About Me
Hello, I’m Erin.
A writer, travel journalist and humanitarian aid worker. With a background in humanitarian assistance and international development, I’ve witnessed firsthand the impacts of war and displacement, and also the resiliency of the unyielding strength of the human spirit.
A passionate traveler, I enjoy writing about experiences born from exploring the world. Through travel, I’ve discovered the powerful way that every journey can teach us something, deepen our empathy and understanding, and remind us of our shared humanity. I believe in travel’s power to teach and enrich our lives.
I write to capture these moments—the beauty of exploration, the lessons found in unfamiliar places, the offbeat, the bizarre, and the stories that unite us. I believe travel has the power to enrich our lives, foster understanding, and promote justice and connection in a way nothing else can.
Originally from New York, I am currently based in Lyon, France. I have lived in Guatemala, Afghanistan, Lebanon, Greece, and Paris, among other places. I am eager to continue to explore the world, one story at a time.
